Bulletin Shorts for the Third Sunday of Lent

Third Sunday of Lent – 15 March 2020

Exodus 17:3-7.  Psalm 95:1-2, 6-7, 8-9.  Romans 5:1-2, 5-8.  John 4:5-42.

Drinking in Christ.  Let us not grumble like the people in the desert.  For we stand in the grace of God who pours divine love into our hearts and being.  Let us stay in conversation with Jesus just as the Samaritan woman did at the well through our prayer and lenten reading.

  • What grumbling, what complaining will I stop doing?
  • How will I make time each day to pray and converse with God?
  • How will I be a sign of healing and support to the elect thirsting for Easter Baptism?

* Fill in names of the elect *

Special Praying in the Middle of Lent.  The whole Church prays in intense ways on the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Sundays of Lent with those elected for Easter Baptism this year.  Our parishioners are:  ____.  Because we stand in grace, we can face sin with them and pray for healing and support.  God is good.  Grace is good.  Prayer with and for others is good.
