Bulletin Shorts for the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus – Friday, 19 June 2020

Deuteronomy 7:6-11.  Psalm 103:1-2, 3-4, 6, 8, 10.  1 John 4:7-16.  Matthew 11:25-30.

“Come to Me.”  Jesus says to each of us and all of us today:  “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened….”  Even in this world-wide tragic time, we find rest in him.  We have things to do, surely.  We may also fear for lack of work and food, fear for those who are most venerable.  But we can always trust the love God in Christ has for us.

  • How will I go to Christ? What rest will I find in him?
